ESTRUCTURE FOR A TRANSMISSION ROOM IN ETSI TECHNIQUE

The ETSI Valcore structure has been designed to comply with the norm established by a model recommended for the mechanical an electrical setting of rooms with telecommunications electronic equipment.

It features a self-portable structure of great strength and easy setting up, formed by a Head of the row frame and an End of the row frame, H=2250 which are the Framework supports and contain the distribution boards of direct and alternating currents for the additional signposting and centralized cabling. The height of the frames can be increased up to 2600mm by means of Frames Extensions.

The framework, built with 1 ¼" x 1/4" Fe plate, offers the platform for the upper cabling of the row and the normal anchorage of the Slim or ETSI racks which conform it, enlargeable by means of 606 mm Enlarging modules.

If more than four positions of ETSI racks are required by the structure, Enlarging boards are available to bear the framework weight.

The structures can be either Monofront, of 386mm width so as to install one rack line or Bifront, of 606mm width for two back to back rack lines.

Each Head of the row frame is supplied with a primary power (CC) board, an alarm module with light an sound signal, two power boards 48 V DC with NH fuses and capacity for ten thermomagnetic switches (Monofront structure with capacity for six switches each) and can be equipped with up to four distribution self powered boards, commonly used in double configuration..

Both types of frames are supplied with boards, cabling an alternating current outlet for light and instrument feed through separate circuits.

The frames allow for the upper or lower entrance of feed cables which enables the assembly on technical floor. The structures include Ladder shaped cable bearer frames for the upper entering (see photo).
